i tried to keep it parallel... i wanted the main pipe on the bottom to prevent any stress on the weld... seen alot of pics of the bar ripping at that point..

but i did bring the top bar all the way to the main... so i think that with it only being off in respect to about 1 inch or so off center line , i am not worried by it...

well kinda of got thrown off schedule with a few little things that popped up... a couple weeks ago i went to drain the oil and pull the valve cover off to pour some oil over the head due to it sittin for awhile... and discovered some gas in the oil.. so that means replacing the fuel pump... got all that back together and valve cover back on and some fresh oil and filter.. started her up after draining the old gas and some fresh gas... and noticed some coolant on the ground.. WTF... water pump weeping through the weep holes... bearings shot in the water pump... so had to tear down the front end... but was a good thing so that i could actually mount my electric fans so they wouldnt touch the rad....
so i bought two wiring harness from princess auto that were meant for lights but i thought they would work well for the fans since it had a 40amp relay in it .. its a plug and go harness and is cheap... $16 bucks..
the new water pump moved the belts out of position for the alternator and power steering pump so had to modify the alternator bracket and push it back to line up with the pulley...

then finally after all that i put the exhaust in... which the flex pipe cost me more than my cheap muffler... raptor muffler $29 bucks...

finally i was back on track and needed to fab up something for the rear quarter panels so that way i wouldnt be pulled over by the popo for tires sticking out of the fenders to far... so here is what i came up with...

thanks... it is clean... you should see underneath...

i need to bring it home so i can finish all the wiring...

1/8 1x2 with 1/4 plates... and 1/8 pipe.. they would do a hi lift but i havent tied them into the frame yet on the fenders... was waiting until i get a metal tech cage to tie them into it...

drove it today with Cam.. nice and smooth...
