I would also be interested in a long term update... I'm really thinking about getting these shocks
@FirstToy, I saw someone dusted off this old post and since I just ordered 7100's a couple weeks ago with the 400/100 valving I figured I would ask how that setup ended up working out? Was the 400/100 too stiff/ Not stiff enough? Did you dial in a valving that works well for daily driving as well as trail riding? Comments, Concerns or complaints we might all learn from?

7100s are fine but Since this time new shocks have come to market.
For actual 7100 advice, I would ask Ali (he's in this thread). He's probably had the most experience with them.
Nowadays, I would go with the uber nice Slee shocks. Bigger shock. They are a direct fit, he can valve for your truck and you have support after the sale. Actually cheaper in the long run.
Also, I think Icon sells something for the 80 too.
