The rear view was obstructed, but Okay until I put the tray on the ladder. Christo told me it would obstruct the view. I asked when he was going to come up with a bracket and he said he would look into that

As Forest Gump says " I am not a patient man" If Christo comes up with a bracket look at swapping it out

I removed the camera and covered the hole with ABS

I lengthened the harness ( sorry, didnt measure it) and drilled two holes in the Tray. I used stand offs to let the camera set down a bit to keep the connector out of the way

Although I didnt take a picture of it, I did verify I could see the trailer hitch as I use the camera to help connect a trailer. Hmm, has it always been a reverse image or did I swap a couple of wires

I am going to get better bolts, look for flatter heads and a bit longer so I can use washers on both sides of the camera bracket.

@use2bn83 seems like you could machine a hole bracket like this hint hint. Happy to prototype it

I like it and am glad somebody else hit Christo up on an “official” fix.

Changed outthe screws for flat heads and long enough to put a washer onj the bottom. Better picture in parking lot. Glare isnt as bad as the photo shows on my display. Don't think you need much better than that view. Looks like I should clean the camera lens :)

I may be looking at doing the same. Right now, I am looking at replacing the factory tire carrier just to have the option of moving the spare down there when driving around town since my wife will be the primary driver for a while. I have a bunch of other questions regarding your towing with this bumper, but I'll PM you those.

We moved mine to inside the cab and it's worked well for a couple of years now.

No pics of the plate covering the hole left by the camera removal because mine isn't as sexy as your PVC. I just stuck some duct tape over it thinking I'd get to it "someday".
