Skis on ARB Base Rack? (1 Viewer)

I have been delighted with my ARB Base Rack since I installed it this summer. Then the snow came.

How do I carry skis on the Base Rack? My Yakima Sky Box 21 will not attach to the rack. The slats are too thick.

Someone around here must have figured this out. Please help.

I assume you mean the clamping mechanism for the box will not fit around the slats. In that case I believe you can go old school and use a U-bolt. There are several kits that might be possible to use:

Check out the attachments that ARB makes for the Base rack, I think between Yakima accessories (like the T fittings above) and the ARB accessories you can get something to work.
