Skinny tire (very skinny ! )

I just want to know some opinions.

What peoples think about 215/85R15 tire for a 70 serie?

What is the good, the bad and the ugly of that type of tire?

I believe it's not too bad on the fuel... but how about the handling?

i think they will be ok, check the load capacity, 6 ply would be good.

That's really only a 29" x 8" tire. Really not that skinny or tall IMHO

ive got 50 psi in mine on my 60 , you could go less but for in town on the paved roads it works well .

skinny is the way

skinny vs fat, depends on what you use your truck for...
highway, skinny is great for fuel economy, handling and tracking. fat lloks cool.
off road, skinny is fine if there is something to dig too...fat has floatation.

hey i have a set of Michelins XZL 7.50x16 (32x8.5x16) on split rims, they are great !! good fuel economy and excelent grip on mud.
they aren't noisey on pavement either.
