Add another to the list for Saturday and just know that this big ole bag of snacks puts down more groceries than me!

I think I was only missing adding Lenny's clan to that number. I based or shopping list on 40 with the kids we should be ok. Looks like a great turnout and we can't ask for better weather for LA/MS camping. I spoke to Dennis the property owner today to make sure he's expecting us Friday and he said as of today they didn't get much rain which is great hopefully just enough to knock down the dust. - don't forget your extention cords for your power devices
- your shower gear. There are two hot showers stalls.
- Cell coverage is spotty at the campground so if you are trying to get someone at the campground leave a message they may have to drive down a bit to call you back. If its urgent call Dennis Cotton (318) 729-1538 the property owner and he can hand deliver the message he lives right down the road. Also Beth Harris at the campgound has a camp right near the campground and can hand deilver a message if needed.
- The nearest corner store with beer, ice and the essentials is 3 - 5 miles from the park.

From Monroe, La. to Catahoula Recreation is about 62 miles. take I-20 east to Rayville go right on hwy. 137 that turns into hwy. 15 south go threw Wisner La. about 3 miles to Peck La. turn right on hwy. 913 go 5 miles turn right on hwy. 915 go 3 miles to the end of the road.
From Alexandria, La. to Catahoula Recreation is about 70 miles. Take hwy. 28 east to Archie La. then take hwy. 84 east (right) to Jonesville La. go left on hwy. 124 to Harrisonburg La. turn right on hwy. 8 east (cross the Ouachita River bridge) go about 6 miles to Leland La. turn left on hwy. 913 go 3 miles turn left on hwy. 915 go 3 miles to the end of the road.
From Natchez, Ms. to Catahoula Recreation is about 40 miles. Take hwy 15 north and hwy. 65 They run to gather until Clayton La. hang left on hwy 15 north to Sicily Island La. take hwy. 8 west about 5 miles to Leland La. turn right on hwy. 913 go 3 miles turn left on hwy. 915 go 3 miles to the end of the road.
