Since I've only had my LX for a couple of weeks, I'm still trying to figure out how to efficiently pack our gear into the back (with the rear seats taken out). I think I read online that the rear cargo area of an LC/LX is about 55 cubic feet, but that space seems to be somewhat small in width/depth, with a very tall height. I've never packed a vehicle like that (our two previous camping cars, a Ford Escape and a Ford Ranger with shell) weren't tall at all, and I couldn't even stack two "roughneck" plastic totes. So, packing gear into a tall vehicle is new for me.
So, I figured I would ask you guys. Does anyone have any pics of their LC/LX loadout in the rear cargo area they'd like to post? Any clever (and hopefully cheap!) hacks for making that space work? Thanks!
