looks unique. But unless i could fab up a roll cage, vinyl doors (like a scout II SS) and make it look like it came factory like that i don't thnk i'll be hacking up my cruiser.

enjoying the perks of my new job, full service machine shop, carb guru next door.

I suppose i could get some nice cash out of selling a F/3speed set up with less than 70K on the clock and would help pay for a new diesel swap/tranny/tc set up.

There is a pretty cheap MB om617 on craigslist right now!

Trade for the 40 then find an older pickup to handle your towing duties. By the way got a pickup for sale.

i'm gonna do it....i've found some interesting info on a few MB diesel forums where people have built their own adapter kits to mate the om617.915 to various transmissins, making their own adapter kits out of junkyard/oem parts.

Now i need to find out how i can swap in a 700r4 or 460e and keep the factory pto.

and i will be looking for a cheap pick up truck after i file taxes this year!
