HI all,
Can anyone recommend a shop with a press(hydraulic?) to remove the pins on my 1979 40 tire carrier?
From what I have read this is the best way and maybe only way to remove the pins so I can replace my carrier bushings.

If anyone else has a better home remedy that works please post up.
Located in Decatur.
Thanks!

I have a press. I'm up in Acworth. If you're interested in coming up this far, send me a PM. But, any machine shop or mechanics shop should have a press and be able to have you in and out in no time.

Thanks, I appreciate the offer!
Let me see what I can do locally in Tucker.
I've been driving the 40 daily since I work from home, its amazing how much noise the tire carrier makes....original bushings are shot.

Ended up here for pressing out the carrier pins, local to me.
Good turn around time and cost

He had f motor exhaust manifolds there to machine the two surfaces flat if anyone is in the market.
