Cooper STT's are great road/off-road tires. They are more of a MT tire, but are pretty quiet on the road. I am not a big fan of having AT tires on a truck that is being built to be off the pavement. Also, I ran 315's instead of 285's with stock gearing and the truck performed just fine of the road and on the trail. If you buy 285's, a year later you will be kicking yourself for not just going ahead and buying 315's.
