carpet covers many sins. that's one of those builds that I would express appreciation at the fab work, and bite my tongue to express my thoughts at their sanity. But as I've said many times before, it was metal before and it can be metal again. At this point in history, you could build a FJ40* without one part coming from a Toyota factory.... and as an aside, that's the greatest compliment to any manufacturer; unless you're Ford, then it's the greatest affront ;)

*for the trolls - you can build one that, to the casual observer, looks spot on.... a true enthusiast would note the Morrison frame, centered rear axle, and the manufacturing differences of the Aqualu tub.
 
Mine stop great too now. I don't want a firmer pedal, but stopping hard at 60 MPH and having the tires lock up is a bit too good. I want a little less at higher speed :)

other then a bit squishy (I'm sure there's more air in the system), my brakes will throw you over the motor in a hard stop.
