Hey bud....I have camp site #6 with water & elec. reserved......crash at our site & just pitch in for the fee.

Figuered a good way for us to all hang out......:p

Sounds good to me. I got my water pump pulled yesterday and pick up the new one tomorrow. I went ahead and got a new thermostat too. I'm still planning for early Sat. arrival and camp Sat. night. But there is hope that I'll get off work Friday and can come down Fri. pm. :bounce:

Be there either Thursday night or early Friday Morning see ya'll there .

Well everyone I got back last night about 12:30am....but nice to sleep in my own bed.

A big thanks to Roger, Todd, Marius for given me all the normal stuff needed to camp.....kinda difficult when business calls.
Great friends & as always generous more than anyone will ever know.

It was truly great to see all the cruiser heads back only a few weeks after GSMTR!
Georgia folks, glad to see you all again.
Heather a special thanks for traveling & being a new mother......away from her new born:bounce:

Overall everyone it was a great event & the meeting shed alot of light on the issues around Tellico.

Guess it really hit home, University of TN was conducting a poll of people using the Tellico area......the woman discussed a few weeks back being at one of the pay stations & a fellow coming up gettin servey and began to explain that he has been in the middle east for the last year, while there his only dream has been to come back & wheel at Tellico.......standing there he began to cry......now back he says, the one place I wanted to come home & enjoy is now possibly being shut down.

Folks wheeling is what you make of it.......for me, most of you all are my family, I see & spend more time with you all than my own family.........looking back 4 years ago when GSMTR was at McNabb I asked my wife to marry me there......why, I love her & I love the area (Tellico).....now understanding that someone wants to take that away is very personal to me.

Sorry to ramble but sometimes you have to put things in context......get invloved, write letters about Tellico.....first off read the scoping letter, then personally write a letter concerning it & the plans it contains.

Tellico holds a special place for the wheelers who have enjoyed it.........I want to see that be able to be enjoyed for many generations of wheelers to come:hmm:

Thanks folks!

drove 500 miles for 12 miles on the trail and can not wait for the next one
thanks everybody

Although I never got to shift into 4lo and hit any trails, I still had a great time. But I have to say I was looking forward to getting back home to see the little one as it was my first Father's Day as a pop this year. The meeting was good to attend and learn more about what is happening to Tellico. I will be doing what I can to spread the word and getting more comment letters sent in. I will also be making many copies of the survey we picked up.

Thanks Roger, Todd and Clutchee for the help with the fan clutch. I now have CarQuest in Murphy stored in my phone! Also good to know the cell phone works in that first parking lot!

Thanks to SFWDA for what you do and what you stand for. I have a lot to learn about what is happening, but am eager to help in anyway I can to help "Rescue Tellico"

And thanks to the Trails Team for all you guys do.

Andy

All,
Sorry that I missed the gathering and the meeting. I expect that details from the meeting regarding save Tellico will be posted for action.

On a general note, the doctors have finally put two probably names to my condition and started some treatment. Right now it is a rollercoaster (one step forward followed by a half step back), but I should be getting back in the swing of things soon.

Excellent meeting, very informative!

Great to meet everyone and had a great time around the fire. The Ga. Cruisers will try to get the word out and it will certainly be discussed in the next meeting. Get the letters in the mail!!!

FYI- I scanned a copy of the Tellico OHV survey that was being handed out and have it in a .pdf format. They are numbered sequentially but if you would like a copy send me your email address in a PM.

Great work and keep it up!

Thanks for all you guys have done.
