Hi... my 200 smokes black smoke, lots of black smoke. Mainly in kickdown. This week a diesel expert disconnected the hokum pipe in the intake manifold, the smoke remains, but no longer black. The injectors are fine. The turbo is fine. Two years ago we did soot cleaning 2 questions 1 Will disconnecting the vacuum hose cause damage? 2 Does anyone have any idea where the smoke is coming from?
