I just acquired an old school Timing light ... any suggestions of a video or link to walk me through setting the timing ? Any help would be appreciated

It will help to paint the bb a light color. The TDC line also while you’re at it. Makes them easier to find for timing, distributor placement and valve adjusting.

Search around there's a lot of good information.

If you look in the inspection window right above the starter there's a line that will show TDC and a BB (little metal raised dot, looks like a BB used in BB guns). The BB shows 7 or 7.5 before TDH.

Start engine and turn on timing light. Point at the window to see where you're at.
To adjust loosen the clamp on the distributor and physically rotate while pointing light.

Again search on youtube for a million videos that will explain it.
