Curious why you didnt stay with a Morningstar controller?
FWIW I have several installed systems using the same Sunforce-60031 without any issues.

I wanted a 10 amp charge controller for future upgradability.

Upgradability is a good idea. Any reason for not using Morningstar products again?

The cost was higher than I wanted to pay to get my setup running. Waiting until I could have had the morning star would have put the project off a few more weeks.
