Marketed in the u.s. Means something? Have you ever sat in a Jetta? And I asked the question in the first place because the search function on this site is a joke.

I agree the search function is a joke actually the whole re design of the app is a joke. I want the old app back. I find my self getting better search results from google usually ih8mud results will pop up first and then you can click on show all ih8mud results and it's much much better. Also every one on here that is making non productive comets is the reason I have stopped visiting this forum as often if I wanted to hear that crap I would visit any of the jeep forums. Grow up guys and girls.

I have to admit the iphone and iPad searchers are tricky, but if you're trying to do some serious research on MUD, the website page is the way to go. Searching on MUD is only as good as the searchee. If you want to do something on your LC, it's been done and it's on MUD. Just gotta ask the right question to bring it up. You won't find finite details 60 mods on a Jeep forum.

Anyone know if there is a seat out there that will fit in the 60 series with no modification? Would an 80 series work?
Scat seats from Iron Pig.

If you guys want to comment on the tech stuff then please continue. Quit with the childish comments tho..

No problem. I put BMW seats in my 60. I am a big person, too. If you want to see the details do a search. :flipoff2:

Seat bottom foam replacement from SOR. Pricey but excellent quality. An easy swap out.

Don't know of a thread. But you will need a good set of hog ring pliers and a box of rings. I had my seat edges replaced with vinyl done separately. If I had to do it again, I would take in the SOR foam and have an Upholstry shop do the fix on the seat cover and bottom at the same time. Not hard to replace the foam, just a little frustrating.

I think i posted this before but I used 1992 Lexus es300 heated/leather. VERY comfy with lumbar adjust. Love them. Not quite bolt in though...

You may need a bracket made,i tried lining up the bolts but not really close. project is on hold due to budget cuts. LOL

TorFab put in my seats a month ago. His bracket is a no brainer. Found seats on Ebay, E-46 seats from the 3 series I think around '03.
Tor warned against the "sport" seats as they have side bolsters and glad I went with the non sport species. I am 6'2" and stepping up into the Cruiser with the EMU lift would be more hassle with the bolsters. Total game changer for comfort and adjustability plus my long legs can stretch out more.
Sold my stock seats for $150 and bought the bimmer seats for $300 and were in excellent shape...Tor's brackets are around $150.I think.......... Great investment!

So can you please post a part number? There are more than than a couple different part numbers listed on the smittybilt web site and they are all for jeeps. Thanks

All these ... And yes they are jeep seal but have the holes in the brackets to line up to square bezel 40 and 60 series
