Seat wear and clear coat failure, typical?

Is this seat wear typical at 65000 miles? Gear shifter is pretty worn also.
Is a failing clear coat on blizzard common ?
 
I wouldn’t expect that kind of seat wear at 65k. Maybe car was never garaged, short daily drives, heavy owner, etc.

I know that seat wear is worse on mine, but I’m more than twice your mileage.
 
IMO, if you see failed clear coat on a Lexus, it probably means there has been a respray in the past.

Also, I've had 5 different Lexus/Toyota vehicles with well over 100K miles, and the leather in all of them has looked almost new compared to the photo you posted above. I'd vote "not typical".
 
I'm not sure if mine was ever redone, but my leather at 191k is fine.
