Picked up a set of leather LC wagon seats at the wreckers for about $120.

Wasn't 100% sure they would fit but after checking they seem ok.

Added a Jeep centre console to check for fit, probably will end up buying one from quadratec, with all the bells and whistles.

Haven't cleaned up the seats yet, will do this after they are fitting and working properly.

The original seat:

New ones in place:

Had to cut off the brackets on the sliders:

Angle runs across to pickup the sliders, and bolts into original holes:

Scrap TJ centre console in place. Luckily it doesn't fowl the handbrake.

This is the Quadratec one I am thinking of buying:

VDP Original Ultimate Console for 76-95 Jeep CJ & Wrangler YJ - Quadratec

Looking forward to driving around with a little bit more comfort, but the next major thing to tackle is the rear leaf springs.

Toyota pickup drivers that have light loads will know what I am talking about :D

nice,
thanks for posting...
but
are you trying to upset the cruiser Gods? Jeep parts do not belong in a cruiser, my friend...
