Thanks for the info and posting up the pics. Guess the January run is back on. That Jeep looks broken ;)

Sign says all OHV's must have an OHV registration sticker. Time to pay your $25.25 at the forest office :)

Good thing I don't have an unregistered OHV.

My comment was sarcasm. I do not believe that applies to licensed full size vehicles as the road is not a designated trail, unless the FS has changed that. Remember the meeting with Rick?

My comment was in response to what Luke was sayin':

At the meeting, Rick said needing OHV stickers for our rigs might be something the FS does in the near future... my thinking (although apparently incorrect) was that the new signage might be the start of it.

It seems to be a play on words. What is an OHV? Where I come from in the south the common perception is that ATV's are dirt bikes, four wheelers, three wheelers, etc.... And and OHV is a 4x4. I guess when I read that sign, that's what I was thinking.

Rick did say that is was probably going to come down to a matter of the trail, for instance, rampart range and mt. Herman road are more of a "road" because they actually have viable destinations. Shubarth, much like the china wall example Rick gave, has no destination, therefor making it a "trail"? Who the heck knows...
