Who's planning on attending this? My wife heather and I will be going, not sure on vehicle count yet. I will also probably have a guest in another Jeep.

Lead King Basin is such an amazing trail. Not all that challenging, just gorgeous scenery.

Overnight is recommended. I will be camping. You could do Shofield and Devils Punch bowl in one day, but most likely not lead King too. That would be a long haul.

Wow, you guys are missing out. Don't let the trail description scare you, it isn't that bad! besides, I'll have my Jeep there to pull you out if you get hung up.. :cool:

I plan to be there both days. Sandy has another commitment on Sunday or she'd be there too. We missed Lead King last time. Come on Travis, you know you want to drive a wide body around that hole again... :-)
 
Bad news guys. I didn't realize this is the same weekend as heather and my ham class. I'm already paid and registered, so I'm locked in. Hate to miss this, but heather getting her ham supersedes the trip. Bummer. I'll be going the next weekend if anyone can't make this date.

No, but that was the plan. I was going to try and teach Heather while I was studying for the general, but life seems to get in the way. Having her take a class will be much easier. I will get my general soon, just have to make time.
 
I'm about to post the details on Meetup for those that are on there but not on these forums to see. Any idea on when/where we will meet and approximate return time Sunday?

What: Trail Ride
When: Saturday, 7am-7:30am
Where: Meet at the Woodland Park Western C-Store (actually in Crystola, adddress: 20421 Hwy 24)
Why: depart at 7:30am

Sam is leading the convoy. I think we have six attending (Grimeless, SAS, wpsfan, twbland, maldavid, and Spadone).

See the rock on top of the slider? LOL. Apparently when approaching from the other side, it "scooped" that stone and carried it until it wedged between the big rock and the door. I have a small ding in the door from that. If I didn't have this photo, I would be like "WTF, how did that happen!"
