Woah! What are we looking at here? Long awaited swing out option?
Yes and Jerry can holder. I also got the flat base to interchange when not carrying Jerry cans.

All mounted up, no welds on the can holder all bolts takes a bit of time to put together.

Are the jerrycan holders officially for sale or did you have to get that as a custom order from Dissent? I don’t remember Ben ever announcing that these are finalized and available to purchase. It looks amazing!

Awesome thread! Really appreciate you taking the time to document your build and teach us who are less skilled.

I ordered mine with my skids and second arm a while back, at the time I think he offered these if you called and ordered a second arm. Now I'm not sure how he is selling these you'll have to ask @benc. I placed this order many months back and since he has had a redesign. Not sure which offerings he has now, I think there is one without the hitch insert and one with.

This is awesome build thread! Very very impressive. I found this thread when searching for info on swapping a 99 eLocker rear into my 98 LX.
I hope you and your family enjoy it for many years. Not every IT guy has the skills you got!

Alright so I've gotten a little bored and decided to order a few items from mud vendors and try them out. I like supporting the guys here, and working on the truck on my free time so its a win win.

Wit's End 100 series fire extinguisher :

My thoughts:

As you would expect superb quality from Wits' End from finish to packaging to hardware, pricey for what it is but very high quality. Installation is kind of awkward because you sort of have to half remove the seat to get the bracket in there which leaves the bolts at an angle, if you are not careful you can strip the main threads to the seat mount. I used the bracket for a while but it just sat too far out for my taste and extinguisher would end up touching my heels frequently.

Sadly I decided to remove it and go for another product. That is not to say this wouldn't suffice for other folks, it offers switch blanks and potential small storage.

Owl Expedition Mount:

My Thoughts:

This one took the "fire extinguisher trophy" in my eyes. Price, material, ease of installation, shipping time and just simplicity all-in on this one. I liked it so much I ordered a second one. I don't think it took 20 mins to put this on my truck, its tucked in good, and high so your heels don't touch. The only improvement I would make is to perhaps sand the edges (they are sharp) I took some sanding to it but otherwise I don' think there is a better option than this one.

Gamivit Tire Mount System

I remember seeing this first at HIH8, and thought well I want one of those! So here it is:

My Thoughts:

This is the complete 3-piece system which includes a piece for the mount an insert for the mount an an accessory plate. Over all I'm happy with the product and allows me to use my spare arm for something else (ice cooler) The accessory plate is not designed for FuelPax its mounts its said to be Rotopax ready, that is my only complain. I had to do a bit of fabrication, this could of easily been made to fit both. I definitively recommend for those not wanting to carry fuel on roof and don't have a spare arm.

I owned an 07 100 and liked it for the most part - same color as yours but never really did anything to it. I've got a 200 now and love it as my mod list will show but thoroughly enjoyed all 18 pages of your build. It makes me want to head out West again right now ... on a Tuesday @ work. Thank you for sharing your adventures and farkles with us.

Glad to share. I've had several updates to the truck since my last post. Just have to find the time to put it on here, these comments motivate me to do so. I'll follow up with more posts soon when I find a bit of time.

A few updates to the build.

1) Replaced Bajarack with Prinsu and got a height loss of a tad over two inches, which is great because I squeeze fit in 7' garages before now I feel a little less panic when driving into work.

2) Got new wheels and tires... didn't fit around hub (even tho they were tundra fit tires), so I had to get another set of wheels and tires. Went with the F5s gunmetal and the nitto ridge grapplers love the combo.

3) I had to reinstall all the things around the roof rack, so I replaced the lights with a better brand (rigid) small profile and about the same light output. The solar panel also fit in very snug on the new rack.

4) Batt upgrade to the big boy

5) Rebuilt the Icons

6) Installed front LCA reinforcements

Here is how it sits now
