Just made a tomato sandwich with the last homegrown 'mater I scored from my momma.
Skillet toast made in my "it's not cast iron" skillet, tomato w/salt & pepper, enough mayo for a knuckle rebuild. Washed down with an IPA.

That's neat you can get Lagunitas beer there! A very consistently enjoyable IPA IMO.

Since UPS didn't bring my box of MMC stuff I had to occupy myself with cooking today 
Another sandwich dinner tonight; all veggie this time. Homemade ricotta, provolone, fire roasted sweet bells and eggplant, slow roasted tomatoes, arugula, a basil vinaigrette in between ciabatta with a side of roasted corn and black bean salad. Starting to feel healthy again after all the bacon the last 24-hours

From scratch sloppy joes... ground sirloin on potato bun.
I mixed in some smoked jalapenos, grilled tomatoes and garlic.. Pretty tasty for a quick meal.

We ground some up today. 1.75 lb "cheap" grade bone-in ribeye, .25 lb smoked peppered bacon.
They shall be topped with some fresh guac.

For the bun, I toasted up these cheese deals from the bakery. Very light inner & flaky crust once toasted. Perfect balance of strong enough not to fall apart, but light enough to bite through.

They have those and an onion and jalapeno bun at our local grocer. Very good when they are fresh. If the 
isn't making a bread of some sorts I hit the bakery up.
