Sandblasting Tape

What type of tape should I use to protect glass when sandblasting? Does any one know of a good auto paint supply in Los Angeles.

Not used it for glass but good ole duct tape is what I have always used to protect threads etc. Works great.

Not sure if this would work but try HVAC aluminum duct tape.

x2 on the duct tape. Maybe do a couple layers.

3M make a proper sandblasting tape, really thick, yet releases easily. Used it heaps.

I worked for years sandblasting glass for large signage, fine art and custom crystal awards...deep carving to light frosting. PVC tape and plain old electrical tape will stand up to sandblasting just fine.
