Just wanted to share a good deal I found on some moly grease for knuckle rebuilds or service.

Picked up some Shell Rotella SD moly grease for $2.93/tube (14oz) at Rural King. Same price online as in store, but no shipping cost in store obviously. $12.80 out the door for me.

I know many people have their preferred grease and that’s ok. This has 3% moly. I’ll update if the front end falls off…

I recently went to Tractor Supply and the had a variety or their house brand grease at about the same price, but you had to buy a case of 10 tubes.

I was headed to TS to get the Travelers moly grease but then I found this option. From what I saw the local TS had the Travelers 14 oz tubes for under $5 and appeared as though you could get them individually.

I like Mystic JT6. You can hardly get that stuff off your hands with gas. Second test for your grease is put good dab on an anvil and swat it with a hammer - cheap grease will be gone with almost no trace it was ever there.

I use Mystik JT-6 on our farm equipment. It’s worked well for us. Gonna snag some JT-6 high temp for the wheel bearings.
