I know this isn't fair to the majority but it sure will provide entertainment to Zane, Colin, Kelly, Chris, Jenn, myself and a bunch of others that know the chap.. Some of us have known him a lot longer than others.. And he can take it, trust me.. he's one of my best friends, I do trust him with my life.. I hunt with him, he helped me field dress my first deer, he might have even taught me how to ???.. Oh that's another thread..

All right...enough's enough. I know a bunch of you, but don't know that my own yoda knowledge is always mudworthy. I can bash with the best of them though so game on.

Erik and Collin have me convinced that stripping a bed and motor from an 85 mini will be easy to put on an 85 4runner frame with an 85 extended cab. Guess we'll see. Here's the passenger rear shackle that started the madness. To quote tech to fab Duane (nice guy and highly recommend him due to his honesty..."this is the worst frame I've seen...and if you want me to replace part of it I'll make you sign a waiver stating that I'm not responsible" So thank you Duane, Erik, and Collin. Now Kelly's sucked in and is allowing me to rent part of his yard and shop for the magic to happen.

once you get enough post, you can post up more, you can also buy a star -- basically pay the site and they let you post what you want.

I refuse to buy a star, so here is another post to this thread so I can get to ten...I do have big news though...
 
My good friend COLIN has been the first wrencher to see it. Rather than take my 85 flatbed and put a different cab on a different frame with my old axles and motor...decided to go a completely different direction...
 
I think it was fate, b/c as I was lamenting over how much little crap I'd need to buy to get a trailworthy rig, Sir Craig's List popped up with a gem that I called on an hour after it's posting...
