SR5 Tacoma.....blahHope you get an equivalent rental.

Update,
Zero frame damage and basically all cosmetic except the radiator mounts. Other guys insurance accepted 100% fault so it’s costing me nothing except aggravation. Tomorrow is the complete tear down so they can get an idea of how much they missed on the first inspection. I Should have it back 3-4 weeks with freshly powder coated wheels....now what color to go with, anthracite or black......?
And I’m also waiting to here back about the diminished value route.
Sounds like That is equivalent value with that one .SR5 Tacoma.....blah![]()
Lol, 2011 LC vs 2017 taco..close call.Sounds like That is equivalent value with that one .![]()
Update: we are now up to 19k in damages and I still didn’t get the truck back. I got rid of that god awful Tacoma and they put me in a 2019 Avalon, 300hp apple car play and very very comfortable. I actually enjoy driving it, but F@&k me I miss my LC. Apparently they are having difficulty getting parts from Japan regarding the seatbelts and airbags. I’m hoping another 2 weeks??!
Yup accident was sept 4th. The insurance company said “ we don’t pursue that.” I’m so disgusted at this entire thing I just don’t G A F anymore. If it’s all good I’ll keep it, if I have problems with it I’ll keep it for a year until the 2020s come out. If I hate the 2020, i grab a 2019 left over.that’s over two months to get it fixed what have you heard about diminished value and I would think it be Way over 19k I’m thinking 25k by the time you sign off on it they should of total it. Make sure they guarantee all repairs for as long as you’re on the vehicle I did that all mine that means that radiator starts leaking you just go to the insurance and They replace it

That was my insurance company saying that.Your insurance company might be of some assistance. My wife's A4 was hit no less than 5 times, the last was a couple of years ago, and we still got a diminished value claim pushed through.
The time suck and aggravation of an accident is a complete waste.
That was my insurance company saying that.
What......?120 MPH is only 75% of the speedometer range (160 MPH). You should be shooting for 140MPH cruise speed.
What......?
Well 19k dollars later and I finally got it back today. So far zero ratles, everything works and it’s looks phenomenal. Only time will tell though, Here she is, back in business.
