Too bad that brewery within rock throwing distance of your house isn't open on Tuesdays...
That's the new Track 7 Brewing Co. that just opened half a block from my house?
Been there. Very good Amber & Stout, 4 bucks a pint, no food, good parking.
Course, I could borrow my neighbor's weber....and ask them nicely if they'd open on a Tuesday ...
There are several new breweries opening (or already open) this year in the Sacramento area. New Helvetia (Land Park), Track 7 Brewing (Curtis Park area), American River Brewing (Rancho), Black Dragon Brewing (Woodland), Roseville Brewing, and Midtown Brewing. Lockdown also just opend another location in old Folsom in addition to the warehouse tap room in Rancho.
it looks like second tuesday... any suggestions?
it appears as if everyone else is getting their junk ready for KOH, which I should probably be doing as well. guess I'll see you all in march...

Damn. Completely forgot about it being February. I think March is happening soon, and it'll have a first Tuesday.
I like the new Track & brewery.
Tap Room - Track 7 Brewing Co.
It's one long block from my front door, but usually not open on Tuesdays and no food unless the sandwich truck is there and pints are 4 bucks. Cheaper by the growler. I am on a first-name basis with the owners, and they will open any time if a good sized crowd wants to gather. They would not object to us cooking in the parking lot, I asked. So that might be an option later when the weather gets a little nicer...
Beer is still cheapest at the Rubicon. and first Tuesday does not come during the Sac beer week festivities, so it shouldn't be any more crowded than usual.
I vote Rubicon for March unless somebody else has an objection AND a suitable alternative.
