I recently purchased this 40 from the grandson of the original owner. It is a nice original example, ready to be put back on the road. Original doors and soft top frame have been removed, but are included (see photos). It had a BestTop top on it, which is also included, but not in the greatest of shape. Many of its miles came from being towed, and it has a sweet towbar setup. This has a PTO winch and rear jump seats. Very little rust. 3.9 liter straight 6, 3 speed manual transmission, hi/lo transfer case. Original CA black license plates will stay with the car IF sold within CA.
Includes many spare parts such as wheel bearings, brake master cylinder, wheel cylinders, fuel pump, spark plugs, distributor caps, coil, points, water hoses, and more - most purchased from Specter Off Road.
The engine turns over just fine when hooked up to power, but it is not currently running.
