Awwww thanks for all the great ideas. I am sitting here just thinking of what to do next. Damn, sounds like I am not the only person who has to deal with s***ty neighbors.:crybaby:

I went to the county website where I live and printed up the noise ordinance from the city laws (which outlined the fines that they could incur). I typed an anonymous letter and sent it to the neighbor with the dog from hell without any information that it could be traced to me. They keep their yapping dog inside now and let it out to do it's business. I never said anything to them because they are loose cannons and I travel on business an didn't want them messing with my family while I was gone.

Sorry about the WT neighbors. It's true that renters don't have the commitment to good relationships that owners usually do...

x2 on the police complaint and riding the landlord. Best to be the bigger man.

Shoot neighbors.
Rescue dog.

Compound Bow carbon fiber arrow and a blunt and open the side window and pin the mutt to the fence. Cats too!

I have not checked where you live but if you have genuine law enforcement and animal control then a noxious pit bull should be easy to get rid of through the legal system. File a series of complaints and insist this come before a magistrate or municpal judge. If the neighbor becomes aggressive towards you chances are something else would have brought that out. So, you are doing your family a favor by bringing their (the dog owner's) lack of respect for the community to a point. The dog has probably been tormented tp the point that it is a menace.

Be extremely careful about the use of deadly force on the dog or the neighbor. I am sure you know the protocols. Poisoning the dog is not an honorable solution and one that will haunt you.

Good luck,
