I feel like people aren't understanding the concept of a "barn find".

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Toyota-Land...tr=true&hash=item2a4dcb2e0a&item=181693787658

its not supposed to be a rust bucket found in a barn. its supposed to be a vehicle that would be rusted out if not for the protection and preservation provided by said barn.

And whats with people wanting so much for these things now a days?! this guys opening bid is twice what the thing is worth.

Sorry, now I'm done.

Cheers:beer:

looks like there is an attachment point on the frame for a plow.

agree a ton of $$ and not worth it. but I would love to know the story, the interior is as new in most spots.

it came from Illinois originally according to the sticker on the 1/4

wonder what the funky bracket is on the frame. Does not look like it was a plow truck(which is what many of these look like)

For sure his wife told him to buy it and flip it !

Does it count if I find one behind a barn? What if there are barn animals in it... does that count? What if it smells like a barn?

Oh the possibilities are endless...

Can't wait until the FJ60 sales catch the feverish 40 foolishness. I am restoring two as we speak. Should be worth at least $20-30K each, right? I mean, I once drove them past a farm that I'm pretty sure had a barn.
