I have a 1998 LX470 with rust on the upper windshield frame probably due to windshield replacement in 2000 Need to see if anyone knows of a good repair shop that will do this I am in Houston and they all just look at it and decide it’s not for them Know there are Landcruiser specialty shops that will tackle this just need to know where they are I will drive it up to them no problem Thanks

I would reach out to the local LC clubhouse on MUD. You are not the first to have this issue.

There's windshield rust and then there's windshield RUST. If the install was ass 25 years ago, and shops don't want to touch it, you've probably got a mess on your hands.

Thanks I will post some pictures. The LX was along with a GX470 were my wife's treasures. She passed away from cancer in December so I restored the GX and working on LX. They are going to stay in the family so just want to get the best work I can on the LX. If it requires a new roof for the front so be it. Just want to have her LX470 in as good a condition as I can get. Thanks for the suggestions
