Any reason I should not run the fzj80 without an ac belt? Winter here in Canada at the moment, this would be a stopgap till proper parts arrive

Did the same for a few months, no AC belt, then ran the AC with the belt but without the tensioner pulley (couldn't get the pulley on with the belt no matter how hard I tried). Double checked the part number thinking I had the wrong belt, but nope, correct belt only way too tight/too short. So ran the AC with the belt only (no tensioner) for awhile until the belt started squeaking on first start up in the morning. Then once the belt had loosened up was able to install the pulley. No issues.

Been doing that for over a year now, no issues. Other than baking in the sun.
