@ARJMN You still shooting for Nov 7-8?

Here's the plan for the Rug Road Run. Those who want to camp on Friday, can do so at any of the spots along Copper Creek Road. I believe a number of folks have done that in years past. The run will officially start at 9:00am Saturday morning at the Rug Road turn off from Copper Creek Road.

9:00am be here: 32°45'01.8"N 110°31'05.3"W

9:15am roll out.

Lunch here: 32°48'34.6"N 110°30'16.6"W

Camp here: 32°52'44.6"N 110°26'08.3"W

For those of you who are joining for camping only, you can get there as shown below.

Comms will be 2m on 146.460MHz. Everyone is on their own for grub, unless a potluck or happy hour is in order. I myself will be happy to contribute to a 5:00 social hour at camp. Looking forward to it.

Bringing spare lug knutz this time? :woot:

New tires this year, I replaced the worn out street tires after that flat. I also found my spare tire crank tool just in case.

Hey Jason could you make a thread dedicated to this run?

Anyone doing a December ROTM?

If not, can you make suggestions on a route to do a ~3day/2 night trip in the Phoenix area? Looking to explore some areas that are not doable in the summer.

I'll go ahead and put this out there again. I am planning to lead the Rug Road run again in November. Open for suggestions on dates. 13th or the 20th are my picks.

All,

I have a business trip that is going to have me in North Dakota from 10/24 to 11/12, so the 13th could be a bit of a challenge for me if there are any delays in my trip/travel. I am happy to lead the run on the 20th, or I can hand the November ROTM over to someone else. I can always lead Rug Road in January.

I flexible here, but work pays the bills so it gets to claim my time first.

Jason

Hey All,

I am going to be in the field for work from Oct 24 until November 12. That means that I will not be available to lead the run until November 20. Does that work? If not, someone else can lead it, or I can push back to January or February. Sorry for the hassle, but work(paycheck) feeds the beast, so I gotta go.

Please let me know what you think.

Jason

Hey All,

I am still in ND this weekend, so I wont get to prerun Rug Road. That said, I am still planning to lead it next weekend the 20th/21st and welcome all to join.

Same details as posted above.
