Rumour Control....vehicle fire issue

Hi all,

Heard a rumor (3rd hand) that the 100 series is prone to vehicle fires.

Did a prelim search here and interweb....no findings (should be a good thing).

Not sure if it is an engine/trans/model issue, but wondering if I'm missing something here
