Question do I need to pack away the raffle prize we are bringing or will we be giving it to someone before the run starts ? just wanted to know so I can bury it out of the way so they wont get broken Thanks

Pack it -- The raffle prizes are brought in by the Mog Crew from Tahoe side. No one transports anything from Loon start point.

That is why I'm driving in from NC to partake in this year's event. I don't know how many times I'll have an opportunity to make the excursion. I would hate to have not ever participated in Rubithon if it ever came to an end...

Coming in thursday/friday doing the historic route starting at Uncle Tom's. If anybody needs me to help with anything or want to ride shotgun, just let me know through a PM. I am going to have one seat in the pickup. We just lifestyled the pollock pines safeway so make sure to stop by and support our store. I will let the store manager know to have extra goodies in the backroom that week.

Lifestyle construction is a visual and retail content upgrade to the storefront, adding specialty departments etc. I am in finance at division - bean counter Feel free to PM me about your business reasons. I am happy to help if I can. What I meant by notifying the manager is I could shoot him an email about the event and assuming a lot of people will buy their meat and booze and ice there for example I would hate to see them run short on something - maybe they can load the backroom heavier that week.

Just received my Rubithon info...I have to say I like the hand written add-ons and love the FJ disclaimer stating "your truck should exceed our minimum requirements and you will most likely incur body damage."

Hey guys! I'm from Myrtle Beach, SC and will be in Tahoe on the 22nd. Is there any way I could get in on the festivities. I would love to meet some of you guys. Is base camp down the rubicon or at the beginning of the trail. Is there any way to hook up with the group on Sunday?

Never received a reply from the PM...sending in registration this week!!! Any unexpected damage will be taken up with Tony at camp since he is the one that said "you are Rubicon ready!"

I think Jim is on vacation right now too. What kind of question did you have.
The only damage on jim adams run will probably his trailer.

Looking at you by line for your 67 fj40 you shouldn't have a problem with the trail unless it is driver error. This coming from someone who flopped in a relatively flat spot.

It is O.K. Dave, Gunner flopped 200 ft up the trail and proceeded to initiate his smoke screen so no one could get a pic of his flop.

I just found out we'll be in Tahoe on Sat. I'm hoping people will not be packed up by then?! Is the base camp at the beginning or on the trail somewhere? I'm hoping I can meet up with some people then. I stayed in Burbank for 6 months in 98 and got to wheel the old Santiago Canyon, Pismo and Hungry Valley and the mojave and love wheeling out there.
We don't get that kind of wheeling in Myrtle Beach, SC except for Tellico and a couple other places. I would love the chance to see the Rubicon trail with a bunch of TLCA cruisers. Any info would be appreciated...
