I posted a similar thread in the 60 section, Hope it's not too cross posty...Got an 86 booster/master/prop valve to put in my 77 piglet. The swap is plain and simple enough-BUT....I can't find any info on the prop valve dealio and how to use it w/ the pig. It has 4 ports on it, and a big F and an R embossed on the casting of the body. MY GUESS(which is not good to do w/ brakes-so I ask you all) is that the front and rear circuits are both to be plumbed thru the PV. Is this so? IF so, then which ports on the PV correspond to which ports on the MC and basically.....How do I hook up my front and rear lines??? Thanks all

I would just get an adjustable proportioning valve...

Not a good idea to use the factory 77 disk brake pig proportioning valve that is found on my old super deep questionable booster???

W/E bumpiddy. Can I use the exsisting prop valve on my 77 booster master set up (for factory disk/drum) on the 86 booster master set up??? Is it necessary to use an A/M prop valve due to the lower volume of the 86s wheel cylinder in relation to the double wheel cylinders of the pig? I know that I will need some sort of valving to allow more fluid to the calipers(???) than to the drums. Anyone w/ an exact set of steps to take?

Seems like it's been covered, but I can't find it in.........well, white and black, as it were. I really don't want to buy an un- needed a/m part if I can make what I have work.....(guess the a/m part would only be un-needed if what I have WILL work. Kinda like it was in the last place I looked for it in.....

monday bump
