Well, we made it back. No dents or broken trucks. I think. I'll go ahead and say that I had to be winched on the waterfall trail. I know Debbie will post pics so I had to tell on myself first. We had a great time and really tested our trucks. Chris was a little intimidated at first but did great. To say it was cold is an understatement! Around 21 on Friday night. Team Tolleson took great care of us and we didn't freeze. We had a great little ez-up with sides and we had the heat on. I'm sure Debbie will post pics soon.

Thanks to all of the CLC that was there to represent! We had a great crew and the CLC took home both winches in the raffle (Chris and Heath).

Later,

I just thought I would come by and tell you guys how much I appreciated wheeling up waterfall with ya'll. I had an absolute blast and couldn't have picked a better group to tag along with for a short trail ride. I am also glad to see Bodean's pretty little 40 didn't get hurt!

Thanks again guys, when ya'll come back to Texas make sure to stop by the Toyota Trail Riders camp and grab a beer on me.

We enjoyed it as well. Thanks for all of the spotting.

Later,

Look at the top of our page and you can pay with pay-pal if you like. Great to catch up with you as well. Hope you made a little gas money for the trip home. Holla when you are ready to do more shirts.

later,

A few pics

Hope this works.

Big Thanks to my brothers and sisters from Mississippi!

Y'all really made the event for me. The weather really sucked on Thursday. All y'all's hospitality and humor kept me smiling. My favorite souvenir from this year's Round Up is a cheap, plastic necklace made of pink flamingos. LOL

Happy Trails! N

Here is where we spent a lot of time due to the cold. A special thanks to Mark Algazy! He entertained us several nights into the wee hours. Great music from a great guy!

WOW! Katemcy Rocks really ROCKS!

Every cruiser head needs to make this trip at least once.

Esp. if diesel goes back down.

625 miles from my driveway to the gate @ Katemcy.
Total cost of diesel $424.41
Total miles driven 1250
Gallons of diesel 113.36
adv price $3.75 adv mileage 11.04

The rocks grip like your driving over stick um. The 1st morning was raining so I rode with Greg. I gotta tell you the place at first intimidated the hell of of me.
The 2nd day we were able to take the 40's out and had a great time.

Thanks to Kling-on leading us up waterfall. That afternoon was as intense for me as landing a Cessna or partying with Jes.
If your not careful your gonna regret it.:grinpimp:

Meet alot of new people. Mark from Mark's offroad was a great neighbor. Fixed us bacon a couple of mornings and played guitar till late in the night. Greg introduced me to alot of people and everybody knows Bodean.

It was great to hang with Clutchee. I hate he moved and we got to see Doc and Lindy from WToE. They are so nice. These events become more and more like a reunion as you get to see old friends.

Heath let us hang out till the wee hours and never once told us to shut it down. Guess it helped that Jeff Davis was stuck in Jackson town.
He did screw with the the heater in the easyup the coldest night so that we would go to sleep.:D
Man it was cold at night. But Bodean was prepared. The Air Force throws alot of stuff away and its always stuff Jeff needs.
Tent stakes, gloves, rope, bags, jackets, blankets. I kept waiting for his own C130 to fly over and drop us some kerosene or something the guard didn't need anymore.
Debbie and I had on three layers of Under Armor cold gear on, sleeping bags, quilts and the dog for heat. It was to cold for generating more fun heat.:frown:(at least thats what Deb said)

Debbie again saved my ass. She put up the tent, kept food going for us, kept the heaters going. Basically all I had to do is drive to Texas and keep the 40 from flopping.
Other than that I was Jabba the Hut with a Shiner in hand.

Lone Star Land Cruisers put on a great ride. Make this trip if you can,
Great people, great rocks, great time.

Gee thanks Chris. They done thrown me in the Brig! They are sending me to Charleston AFB tomorrow for some correctional custody. Probably administered by some woman with few clothes on at a place called the Silver Slipper. Wait, how do I know all of this? I'll call this weekend with a report on how the punishment is going.

Later,

don't forget to take the penicillin they were throwing away at the flight surgeons office :p
