The toolbox/storage in the floor works out well except for the fact that it limits what you can do with the exhaust system. There is no room to run the exhaust out of the rear of the truck so you are limited to doing a side exit exhaust system.

The only thing I see wrong besides the rust on the shifter is a piece of lint on your seat... Whats your address so I can come take it for a spin...

damn.. Now that's clean.. nice...
Thanks for the comments, the problem with the truck is the build got so out of hand(time/money etc.) that now we have a truck which will probably not see too much wheeling. But then again it spent the first 25 years of it's life proving its self weekend after weekend that maybe the restoration is a nice way of saying thanks.......... Well at least until the smell of the fresh paint fades away!

Busted!! It is an absolute blast to drive. Whenever you take it out the responses that I get really make it all worthwile. Fellow Cruiser owners, hot rod types, Law enforcement officials and even Jeep owners all seem to give the nod or the thumbs up. Pulling into a service station to fill-up and check the oil always turns into 50 questions with people who either used to own a 40 or know someone who does. The response and feedback that I received from a couple of the local car shows up here last summer was also amazing. I wanted to keep it clean and tasteful with no detail left unturned asides from the rusty shifter and original worn out shift knob. Thanks again for the feedback!

Amazing ride. I'd h8 to ever get mud on that. Should be in a museum.

Thanks for the comments on the Cruiser. I keep thinking that it is like a new vehicle and once I get my first door ding then the new vehicle novelty will have worn off. And over time it will turn into a bush truck but that is quite a ways away!

Hey Bob, thanks for the brake info.

Are you running stock headlights or aftermarket?
Hi Eli, glad that I could help you out with the brake line pictures. The headlights that I am running are made by a company called Autonic and have the LED segments built into the lower portion which are used for the turn signals.

Wicked Ride

Very nice, you don't see very many Cruisers that are as nice as this one. Keep up the good work.

Hi, like your rims..where did you get them..any issues with the backspacing. I have a 1976 FJ40..thanks

Thanks for the comments guys. The rims are by American Racing(Mojave) in a 17"x 8" with 4.5" of backspacing. The tires are a 265/70-17 Yokohama Geolander M/T which translates to something like a 32" by 11" I don't have the outer tie rod end to inside of rim interference issue because the tie rod sits inside the rim away from the edge of the rim.

nice looking rig!!
