Great looking Cruiser. While on the subject, here's an unsolicited plug for Aqualu. I just installed their half doors, tailgate and diamond-plate quarter panels on my '77. The parts are high quality and their customer service was excellent.
We definitely strive for good customer service which seems to be harder and harder to come by these days. As a consumer I have had bad customer service and it is all too frustrating.

I've just removed the tub and cowl on my 77 rebuild, and i'm going with an aluminum replacment. My question is when I reinstall everthing do I need to use special hardware to prevent corrosion to the new cowl and tub?

Stainless is a good choice. I went with the stainless hardware package that was provided with the tub/cowl when I picked it up from Aqualu. I also ran some Never-Seize thread compound on all of the nuts and bolts when I was assembling everything for the final time.

Hi great build, could do with some more pictures, anyway looking at your last post I have a ALutub over here in the UK and I too am worried about the steel to aluminium corrosion issues. Did you just make sure things are well painted? eg. the pedal box up inside the Alu dash? and obviously use only stainless steel bolts. Its also things like the mounts for the wings, did you use rubber spacers? Any advice would be much appreciated.

kind regards
Jonnie
