Nice truck and nice write-up, Ige.

Very cool!

Good stuff Ige. Thanks for sharing.

Have a great 2009!

I added the Ford shock towers a few years ago. Also, put in a Tuffy overhead (don't waste your money) and, in keeping to the mutt idea, added Freightliner lighting. Didn't like the Griffin setup (they have much better options now), so I went to a four core oem with a Taurus fan. Had issues melting the solder out of the fuses, so I just recently switched over to 40a circuit breakers, hopefully that will fix the issues.

Ige, I'm curious about your Tuffy overhead console comment. Water gets deep where I wheel which makes the CB and the audio electronics very unhappy. An overhead seems like a good way to help keep them dry, but you're not happy with your overhead?

Nice buildup thread, hate to see you selling your 40s but glad you brought them back from the dead!

Thanks!

Well done Ige. Nice to get some history on that rig, even though I only ever see you in the 80 now. Mmmm - latte ;)

it's a major rattle trap, plus they don't secure in the down position, so when you're wheeling, they flop around.

One of my favorites. I love the rat rod paint job.

thanks... was involved in that one. that and a bit of boredom, but my buddy shawn liked it enough to paint magoo to match ;)

kid seems real nice and he's totally stoked to start wrenching and wheeling it!

also kicked the other 40 out of the garage, so now it's huge in there.
