Thought of my fellow diesel drivers when I saw this. Perfect timing for me as I need an oil change! :D

Canadian tire has it for 25% off.

IIRC last flyer I saw, WalMart had lowered their price on the Rotella T bucket to right around what that sale price is. I'll double check next time I'm in there.

Good news everyone,

Canadian tire is giving a $10.00 gift certificate card for any purchase over $50! This includes a tub of Rotella. :grinpimp:

So a $10.99 savings :flipoff2:

North Shore CT is all out of the Rotella 20L tubs.
Giving out rain cheques which will be filled in the next two weeks.
Thanks for the heads up.

NP. Probably sold out from the ih8mud folks!

Abbotsford CDN tire knew nothing about $10 gift card? Which Cdn tire offered it?

Weird, maybe it was a local thing? I always thought stores like Cad tire got their sales promos and policies downloaded from headquarters or whatever... I got mine at the Langford store.

They sold out really quick at Langley branch. I asked a friendly looking sales associate and asked if they have more in stock. Checked and NADA. Then he checked again, AHA a shipment coming after the sales event. He told me you can always ask for a rain check at the Customer Service. So I did and got my pail last Saturday and the $10. coupon. Yet there were only 2 sitting at the shelf. Looks like a lot got their rain checks too.

FYI this is on sale again starting today, so get down there quick if you want to grab some.

For those in the Vancovuer area - Online it says Grandview and Victoria/Kingsway locations are out of stock. I got some from South Burnaby on Marine Drive. They had 6-8 pales still there when I got mine.

John - Since you use so much oil, you might want to have a lab analysis done at a couple of mileage intervals to see when you really need to change it.

Greg actually had told me the same thing. It's my wife's Safari which is really killing me. She has put on 60,000 kms in 22 months as it is her DD to work in Langley. That's 12 oil changes (132L of oil and 24 oil filters). I can't wait until she gets a job in Abbotsford. In comparison, I have put on just over 100,000 kms in 5 yrs 3 months. But work pays me for the majority of those kms.

I'll ask my friend down at Wsetern Star if they will do it for me.
