NOW, my wife want to go to Moab Area next year after she saw my rough cut of PreMoab runs video!

God had answered my prayer.

Cheers,

I'll be up in Morgan hill for a week. I can slide by and give you two a demo of the Maggiolina - Once your kids hop in - it will be a done deal... I moved it by myself from the 80 to the Tacoma in less than 15 min... ;)

Did I say how much I love this tent :grinpimp:

DesertDude,

Your tent looked very appealing in Death Valley. We almost climbed in there when it rained!

Give us a hollar when you are in town. We can meet up for dinner!

Jay- We'll keep praying for your wife to come on these trips, along with all the other cruiser wives.

VW already did it, and did it well. Has anyone put a camper bus on a cruiser frame yet? Might be cheaper.

Here is my new Autohome Maggiolina AirLand:

Joel

Thanks for posting the pictures - looks great on your 4runner! Enjoy!

Joel, that's sweet! That's exactly what i want. How tall are you and can you stretch out fully in there with another person that might not be quite as tall as you?

Just from more reference: I'm 6'1" and my lady is 5'4" no problem with room at all - even the supplied pillows are nice as is the mattress

Perfect information. Thanks. That's the exact tent i want as soon as i can get enough coin together for it.

Looks nice... That would be sweet with the shell painted to match the vehicle

Could you show a close-up pic of the mounts/mounting area ?

How much would you estimate the total weight is, and is it possible for one person to load it up there ?

How it mounts to the crossbars or how the crossbars mount to the factory rails?

Total weight is around 120. I got it up there myself. Not sure I'd want to do it regularly though.

Oh, sorry..a pic of how the crossbars mount to the factory rails would be great. :D

Thanks !

I think Joel used the Thule 450 Crossroad and load bars. Check Thule's website at www.thule.com. Good for 165 lbs. dynamic load in the 4runner or Landcruiser.

Yakima makes a similar product with similar specs.

Thanks for the pic 4R.

Oh yeah, you`re good to go ! :grinpimp:

You should have NO problem ( even UNDER the roughest conditions ) with that set up.

If you wouldn`t mind, please give us an update on its overall performance, I really like the look and design of your tent, It would be great to get a "test review" after a few trips with it

You have a nice 120, keep up the top-notch mods !

Mike, i hope this hasn't allready been asked and if so i appologize, but for a regular customer (by that i mean no special deals or discounts, just regular price), how much would that tent cost delivered to NC?
