I am trying to find out how much interest there is for roof top tents. I am considering importing some that are similar to the australian models. I am located on the east coast. Pricing with the annex would be $995.

Please let me know if this interest you.

Thanks

I also have a product similar to the hard shell auto-home tent priced at $1595.

I'd be interested in seeing pics of the hardshell model...I currently have the ARB Simpson III, and thought it might be nice to have someting with alot less setup time...does it come with a tarp or annex?

Yeah, need more info on the hard shell model, that is a very reasonable price range. Spec and pixs please. I have a Tepui right now and setting up is fairly fast but haven't encountered rain or rough condition yet, hard top has been something I always wanted but didn't want to spend the kind of dough that Maggiolina was asking for.

Less setup time than a Simpson III!? It's called a hotel... I can set my Simpson III up in less than 15 min! The only bad part is working overhead, but still not bad by ANY means!?

There's a lot of them out there already but I haven't seen any immitation Maggiolinas. You could be on to something with that, then again if this is something new, it won't be long before there's a million people selling them.

Interested in hard shell model. Would need an 80" mattress for my height.

two minutes to unhook and crank my maggiolina and no working overhead. five minutes to take down

I took a break from this to work on my actual business, I am looking into this mainly as a way to get myself a tent for a better price than what is currently offered. I will load some pics when I'm at my office tomorrow. These are made in china and the manufacturer has minimum order quantity, the shipping would be lower but I think we would need 20 buyers to be involved. From what I can tell it is the same product that maggiolina is selling.

Price is the determining factor I think for most of us...what are we looking at for the tent plus shipping? That's a great RTT and by the looks of it they have some nice looking awnings too!

Hardshell model

Here is a basic picture of the hardshell model. It measure 84"l x 51"w x 39" h. I am going to have a sample model in 60 to 90 days. I am planning on testing it and making sure that it is built to my quality standards and then I will order more to sell. The price will be $1595 for the hardshell and $995 for the 4 man standard style. I will have awnings and other accesories available.

Would everyone who is interested please post in this thread so I can estimate the demand. Let me know if you are interested in the hardshell or standard, and what accesories you would like. Accesories include annex, awning, and awning enclosure and will be as reasonably priced as the tents.

I will also have a website up and running in the near future.

Thanks
Jake

how much for just a ladder?

The awning for the hardshell is a good idea. I will see what I can come up with.

In regards to the ladder I am not planning to sell parts alone at this time but if your really in need of one I can try to have one added to the crate when they ship my samples.
