That awning is pimp. And depending on the price, I'd really be interested in a ladder.

There are 2 options for the standard tent (3-4 person), a water resistant fabric that most models are made out of and a waterproof fabric that is not as common nut might work well in wetter regions of the country.

Is there a price difference?

That's pretty slick. Do you know, can you zip the changing room on and off the awning? I am thinking that would provide a lot of versatility. For example, if you just want a sun shade you can have the awning, but in more inclement weather you could zip the changing room on for more protection. Do you know if that is the case with that setup?

The changing room and awning are separate parts. I was thinking an awning with removable sides would be ideal. If there is enough interest I'm sure I can have something made.

From what im seeing there are already enough options in terms of standard soft shell tents.

I will concentrate on the hardshell models for now. I will need 10 orders to make this work. $1500 for the tent, $1600 with awning, $1700 with changing room.

The tents will be available for pick up in Newark NJ or Bluefield WV. (Newark will be the port of entry). If those locations are inconvenient I can arrage delivery to anywhere in the US or Canada for an extra charge.

Good job, Moving the thread to the classifieds section was the right thing to do.

That's great news for two reasons...one, obviously the price point....and two, it would be pretty exciting to have a supplier here on the East Coast/Mid Alantic regions

Good luck moving forward,

Pat

two minutes to unhook and crank my maggiolina and no working overhead. five minutes to take down

Exactly. That's the whole point of a RTT in my mind. With the Autohome hardshell tents you can literally be in bed two minutes after parking the truck because not only does the it only take minute to pop up the tent (I have the Maggiolina version with the self-lifting gas struts), but your bedding is stored in the tent, ready to go. If I'm gonna take the 15 minutes to set up a soft-shell tent, I can use any number of conventional tents I have. s***, I can almost get my canvas wall-tent up in 15 minutes (not including erecting the stove pipe).
