Roof latch question

So I have these roof latches from a 69' AUS spec 45. Is the short latch stock or modified?

Modified, I have some aussie latches and it was modified to clear later model wiper motors with the cable. Common upgrade from the early single motors.

Thanks for the reply Whiety. So was this a replacement latch? I only ask this because it is molded differently than the long latches and I can't see any marks indicating cutting and grinding have been done on this unit.

I think it's standard on some years. Believe my late 68 came from factory with the cable driven RHS wiper and has this short latch.
I have also seen it retrofitted to earlier twin motor rigs as Brian points out.

Interesting Andrew. So is there only one short latch or is it both center latches?
