Hello I just purchased a 2020 HE edition and am browsing around looking for a possible slide out bed similar to what you find in a Tundra/Pickup. I have seen the ARB stuff and and it looks similar to what I am looking for. Anyone know of any other vendors selling slide out bed/low profile drawers for 200 series?

Thanks!!

ARB offers 3 heights now. Give @cruiseroutfit a call they will be able to help you out. I run this setup:

I have been watching for years for a roll out floor. Not more than two inches tall. Track wheels, tool boxes, and other heavy, not easily slid, items pulled out onto the tailgate would get my attention. I don't want drawers. A simple sliding floor.

I'm looking for the same -- sliding floor. I seen a bunch of stuff for diy bed slides using caster bearings/rollers. Been pondering using skateboard rails and plywood .

We've been working on our 200 Series DD build. With that, we've been working on just that, a full size roll out floor. We have the concept down but it needs a little bit of refinement before it's ready for the masses. Currently the load is about 175 pounds before it is too difficult to move with ease. We're looking to have the floor support up to 400 pounds and still be simple and easy to slide out fully. I'll post a separate thread as things progress.

Just a thought for consideration as you choose whether to perdue this...

To me the limiting consideration is the fact that keeping it as low as the floor means it has to be as narrow as the *narrowest point* between the wheel well bumps. That’s pretty dang narrow, and creates large, irregular gaps/humps on either side of the floor.

If that’s not a concern, then great! But mentioning because some have been less aware of how much floor space is reduced by working only between the wheel wells.

I completely agree. The total space available is greatly reduced by the wheel well humps. Not a concern, but it is absolutely a limiting factor. In our very first mockup we used the area to the rear of the wheel well but it's not worth the minimal space that you get to use. We have been successful in keeping it low, and tight to the floor, but still narrow.

Have really been thinking about this from a dd standpoint. The wife and pup love to hit the beach for the sunset and use the back/tailgate, but we also want the ability to slide out our camp bins or cooler. We need the vertical space for hauling plants etc. and can't really see ourselves sacrificing for drawers.

Will definitely be following this thread and if I make it down the honey-do list far enough this might get made.

Yeah. DD/GG (daily driver/grocery getter) For me, the third row is key. We use it alot (pre covid ;P) Removing the third row/drawers etc are not in the picture.

I'm dreaming of a frame (plywood or 8020 ready tube) that can be installed and anchored to the floor AND not prevent the use of the third row seats.
Then sliding platform is bolted up to the frame. The platform is just HD drawer slides + "platform" material (plywood?).
Maybe even 2 sets of platforms -- so you could deploy 1 seat by simply unbolting/removing just one side of the platform.

When I start spitballing, the price for parts gets expensive real fast.
