I just finally picked up my first FJ after years of searching and looking for some body parts to restore it right. I've heard stories about Bobm's work and looking to buy a set of rockers and rear corners. Sounds like he makes them in batches, curious if anyone else in in need.

I havent done a detailed inspection yet, but would appreciate any advise of other hidden areas of concern i should look at from a hiddent rust perspective. One of the previous owners did a bunch of fiberglass repair that is rattling loose so im concerned about what is hiding.

Front floors, body mounts, lower front fenders are also areas prone to rust.

It’s a ‘73. Made the 25 mile drive home under its own power power and nothing important full off along the way, so I’m pretty happy about that. Needs a lot of attention, so I’m gunna use it as a project to get my teen boys engaged in before they move out.

(Thanks for the advice!)

Just got home and snapped a couple. Mostly in good shape...except for the rockers and 20 lbs of fiberglass in the rear corners that falling off slowly.
