I know my condenser is leaking and needs replacing. What are the chances I can do this myself? Require special tools or anything I prolly wouldn't have? And if anyone has had theirs replaced...any suggestions on the best place to get the condenser ??

Thanks

You will need to remove the fan/fan clutch which will probably require a spanner wrench or something to keep the fan from spinning as you losen it. The fan will need to come out with it.

You'll need to drain your coolant, since the radiator will need to come out. The trans lines are also connected at the bottom, so you'll need to plug or catch this fluid. Radiator comes out pretty easy, but you will need a long extension for the bottom bolts.

After that, remove your condenser connections, and replace. This would be a great time to do O-rings. Make sure your.new condenser has that drier sock in it. If not, replace that too before refilling the system.
