my most humble apologies for not realizing that...
For I am a newbie.

Many newbies possess a certain degree of stupidity, of which I am one;)

BUT, I fixed it. Thanks Lucy_FJ55!!!

(now I just got to get those pics and figure out how to post...)

Ha! While fetching a picture of my lower corners of my Piggy, I just realized something...

...I don't have any corners! What an idiot.

I'll cruise the net and see if I can get a shot and present that instead.

[edit: mine is the picture of the Piggy in the snow in the upper corner, the best pic I could find
was of a Piggy in the snow. The body part in question is covered by the bumper tip. Notice the
sheet metal rolls under, then goes around the corner, ending just below the round red reflector]

You mean just the portion that you have highlighted in the last picture? You need that?
Ehsan

Hi Eshan,

Yes, the highlighted portion. And I am not alone, many FJ55 owners will need these and they are hard to fabricate...

Best Regards,
George

Hi Eshan,

This is a good question. I think this specific panel should be made generic, and should run almost all the way to the rear wheel well.

Each owner could then trim to fit as needed.

Many FJ55's have rust-through from the wheel well all the way down to the corner.

I would like to know what other members think?

Hi Eshan,

I found an underside shot of the corner area to show the extent of the lip. Note the notch near the rear valence would not need to be cut, that could be the owners' option. Perhaps a picture suggesting the notch, but better to keep the panel simple (photo used without the permission of owner):

This is very makable. However, I need a pattern to work on. I am looking for one here in Pakistan. If any of you could just make a single sided mold out of Plater of paris and send that in, it would do the job. I need just the rear corner to get the perfect shape in repro panels. Anyone?
Ehsan

I'm in for two sets of each side.

Making a mold will take a little doing - I'll be glad to try after I bring my 2 piggies out of storage in the next week or two and will have to pull a bumper. The DS on Wang is just breaking through and the bumpers on Arnold haven't been off since probably 1978.

Thanks for your efforts Eshan.

Hi Eshan,
Those look great! Email sent.
George

Email sent; I am in whether front or rear..still not clear where they go w/o a view of the entire fender<LOL>..........would like to see the entire fender to orient myself!..........like the story of two kids drawing a trunk with glasses...one drew a steamer trunk with a glass on it the other an elephants head with glasses and a trunk!

Lou

Lou-
Orient youself with regard to that raised lip. This is for the lower part of the front fender, where you would bolt a mudflap (sacrilege!) onto.

Seen another way (the other kid who makes the elephant), looking at the front wheel well, this is at the rear of the well. The raised lip diminishes to zero as we reach the lowest point of the well.

HTH,
George
