I've been chatting with a firm in Australia which makes complete carpet kits for the 40/60/55/70/80 series Land Cruisers.

This is a set of molded carpets and DOES NOT include mats. The kits are $127-$151 depending on the model. They are very close to OEM and come with a reinforced vinyl heel square for the driver's side, sou you have to specify RHD or LHD as well as model/colour.
The kicker is that the shipping is about $110 per kit to Canada. But that can be substantially reduced if we can order 5 or more kits. The upside is that they ship via airmail, so this isn't one of those Australia deals where your grandchildren will have to drive you to the post office in their rocket-car to pick up the boxes.
Anyone else SERIOUSLY interested? I'm trying to see if we can get them for $180-$200 per kit including shipping plus taxes/duties. I can order them through my corporation and save on PST and maybe some other fees as well.
I don't mind doing the legwork on this, but I'm going to insist that everybody interested pay 100% of the retail/shipping before I order, and everybody has to understand they are responsible for their share of the duty/taxes, etc. Ask me about the time I ended up with seven unwanted racing helmets. Of course if the deal doesn't work I'll refund everybody's money (it's a small island, even with a LC to help a guy hide).
For you guys on the Mainland, I can throw these kits on the bus or ferry for about $12.00-18.00 per box once they've arrived in Victoria.
